World of Warcraft: Forever community app

Terms of Service

Demonly LLC · Last updated September 30, 2026

The Hearth is a free, fan-made World of Warcraft: Forever app for r/wowforever. Demonly LLC (“we”, “us”) builds and runs it. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. What the app is

The Hearth is a post on Reddit. It shows a countdown to WoW: Forever milestones, Blizzard’s forum posts and news, the developers’ posts on X, a roadmap, and a reference codex. It can also send you Reddit notifications about the milestones and news you choose. It has no accounts of its own, no purchases, and no ads.

2. Not affiliated with Blizzard

The Hearth is a fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. World of Warcraft, Warcraft, and related marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. We use game references as fan content under Blizzard’s Fan Content Policy and will remove them if Blizzard asks.

3. Reddit’s rules apply

The Hearth runs on Reddit’s Developer Platform. Your use of it is also covered by Reddit’s User Agreement, Content Policy, and Privacy Policy, and by the r/wowforever rules. Reddit delivers the notifications.

4. Alerts

Alerts aren’t switched on yet while we wait for Reddit to approve them. Once they are, they stay off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off at any time from the bell in the app. We send at most 2 a day and 3 a week, only in the five-hour window you pick, and never overnight. The Privacy Policy lists what we store to make this work.

Everything in the app works without alerts. We won’t ask you to post, comment, join, or do anything else on Reddit in exchange for a feature.

5. Accuracy

Dates, roadmap entries, prices, and news are provided as-is, with no warranty. They come from Blizzard’s announcements and community reporting. Some dates are Blizzard’s rough estimates, and the app marks those as unconfirmed. Blizzard can change any of it, so don’t rely on the app for anything important outside the game.

6. Our servers

The app’s feeds come from Demonly’s servers. Don’t scrape them, point automated traffic at them, work around their rate limits, or redistribute the data they serve. The posts and articles belong to Blizzard and their original authors. We rate-limit requests and may block traffic that causes problems. We don’t promise our servers or their data will always be available or current, and we aren’t liable when they aren’t.

7. No ads, no real-money trading

The Hearth is free and will stay ad-free. It carries no sponsored content, and we don’t take sponsorships. We’re against real-money trading (RMT and RWT), and the app will never promote or link to anyone selling gold, items or accounts, or to boosting services.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t try to disrupt the app or get into parts of it you aren’t meant to. Don’t use it to harass anyone or to break Reddit’s or r/wowforever’s rules.

9. Third-party content

Forum posts, news, and posts on X come from Blizzard and from the people who wrote them. We copy them from public sources. Those services have their own terms. We don’t control whether they are available or accurate.

10. Liability

The Hearth is a free community tool, provided without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Demonly LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of it.

11. Changes

We may change, pause, or shut down The Hearth at any time. If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top.

12. Contact

For questions or problems with the app, message the r/wowforever moderators through modmail. The “Report a problem” link in the app footer opens the same thing.
